Project Description
MAPLE COTTAGE, BOWRAL
Category Town Gardens, Design, Construction
A steep site in Bowral required retaining and drainage solutions. In keeping with the gardens eclectic charm, a range of materials have been used to create steps, walls, paths and a paved courtyard. In collaboration with the owners, the character and functionality of the garden has been enriched through their attention and effort and Chatterleys’ craftsmanship. It has been a successful and ongoing relationship.

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
“Chatterley’s has helped us transform a steep, poorly drained and neglected site into an Edna Walling inspired naturalist garden that is functional, interesting and aesthetically pleasing. The design concept maximises the value of the site’s magnificent maple trees while landscaping work was staged to meet our requirements based on a structured and iterative process of analysis, consultation and agreement.”
